Just hours after parliamentary approval to President Vladimir Putin for use of Russia armed forces in Syria, Russia carried out first air strike, a U.S. official announced.
The strike was over rebel-hold Homs, however the targets remain disputed, according to British IB Times news portal.
Russia has told the United States not to depart U.S. aircrafts from the Incirlik airbase in Turkey to fly in Syria. However, Russians have not given geographical knowledge regarding where they have planned to strike. The senior U.S. official added the ongoing missions have been carried out as normal.
